Procurement Policy

The following criteria will be considered by FFCA Board when making a purchase, or granting a project:

 

  1. For any project or purchase estimated to cost over $5,000, we will seek a minimum of 3 bids or purchase prices.
  2. We will post, advertising for bids, on our Facebook Group Page and the official FFCA Website fernforestcommunityassociation.com
  3. We will be open for bids for at least a two week period from the posting date.
  4. Bids will be sent to ffcahawaii@gmail.com.
  5. A three/fifths majority vote of the FFCA Board will be needed to accept a bid, or buy an item.
  6. Not necessarily will the lowest bid be chosen. Other criteria may include, but are not limited to; skills and reputation of applicant, availability and timeline of project.
