S-Turn Policy

The FFCA has been contacted by members of the FF community with regard to the regular gatherings that take place near the “S” turn at the top of Ala Kapena. This location is private property, as such any gathering on this site is trespassing and is illegal.

The owner of the property has sent a letter stating that they do not approve of the activity there.

As this is a private property, trespassing issue, the FFCA has no authority in this matter. However, we are very concerned that keiki are being dropped off by the school bus at this spot right in front of the gathering daily. We do not feel it is appropriate for young children to be exposed to the activities that regularly take place there.

The FFCA, on behalf of the FF community, is requesting that the individuals gathering illegally at this location at the very least remove themselves each week day before the keiki are dropped off, by 3pm.

We ask that the community as a whole take it upon themselves to report illegal activities & unsafe conditions by contacting the authorities.
